Photographer Description of Photo
My photo is of the Corio Bay Boardwalk in Geelong. The construction of the boardwalk was funded by many people and they're recognised on plaques along each plank. I took the photo by standing my camera on the ground and taking the photo from there. I wanted to capture one plaque in situ. The settings were on auto. because there was a lot of natural light, being a sunny day.

love the angle this was taken from

Hard choice! Photo one got my vote, purely because capturing leading line is difficult, the vantage point for perspective is awesome, I am a fan of shallow depth of field, this image has captured all of it. Photo 2 the reflection is perfect and I love the perspective you took.

great view point holds interest

I think it's good because it focuses on the point of veiwpoint so one thing the boardwalk and it is taken from an interesting angle which just adds more character to it then if you were to take it from up high

Had to take a minute to decide about this, I think I like this one better because it is more interesting and captures my attention for longer.

Photo 2 gives depth and curiosity to the image. The angle that it is taken from allows the viewer to imagine what goes beyond the frame.

Another great shot taken at a level which we dont normally look at everyday

The low viewpoint allows for the lines to lead very well within this photograph. The line of screws leading from the middle bottom to the centre of the photograph help to draw the viewers attention through the scene. This is then met by the leading rail coming from above and direction your sight to the top right hand corner. An effective use of lines.

Its alright but missing any main elements

I like the leading through the photo caused by the low shot.

Gorgeous colours. Makes you think about the stuff you even walk on!

Preference with Photo 1 again because of the ground level view point just has more clarity for the eyes and colour against the almost black and white Photo 2 which does not really have a object of focus.

Photo 2 has a normal level view point which is very ordinary, but Photo 1 stands out more with a view from the ground level.
